Since the book of Genesis, God has revealed Himself as LOVE—the very definition, yes the epitome, of this word and concept.  Additionally, to those God has created in His image, He literally commands that they love Him in return.  Indeed, the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and might (Deuteronomy 6:5).  But what does this mean?  How does one obey the greatest commandment in a way that pleases Him? 
 
The book of Hosea helps to describe this kind of love.  Specifically, the book of Hosea reveals God’s desire for a loyal heart—a heart like His.
